Question: BURNING SMELL/THUD NOISE WHEN SHIFTING/DELAYED SHIFTING

BURNING SMELL
Okay so i recently bought this car about a month ago (From A Personal Seller). From the day i test drove it, i would smell a burning smell after i drove the car (still smell it until this day every time i drive it). The guy told me he had replaced the clutch at 100,000 (engine has 116,XXX miles on it), The clutch is not loose and has really good resistance so its not soft or squishy when pressed. But i cant pinpoint where the smell is coming from, Normally when oil or possibly coolant is being burned, i can distinguish it, but the smell this time is more potent/stronger. When in idle i don't smell it until after i drive it a bit. (There is no leaks coming from under the car or exhaust). Can anyone help me?

CAR THUD NOISE
While shifting into different gears (2nd mostly), you can hear a noise like bang underneath the car When I release the clutch and gas it ehrn in selected gear , it doesn't happen so much in 3/4th, it's like the faster i'm going the less it will happen. It feels like someone took solid object and just hit it underneath my car. Can Anyone Help?

OFFISH SHIFTING
When i have to go and make a shift, the shifter wont go into gear until after about 2 seconds, that happens with every gear. But when shifting into 3rd gear it feel like i'm clipping onto something before it enters the 3rd gear entirely. I drove my brother's 03' Honda Accord (Stock, no mods anywhere), and his car shifts on the dime, no hesitation. But my car doesn't shift no where as smooth as his. My car shifts into gear (not as smooth as his, not rough either). It's like my car has delayed shifting. Also i noticed recently when i drive my car for awhile, it tends to drive as if something is holding it back. it doesn't accelerate or rev up as fast, as if it's sand bagging or we have a trailer on the back or something, idk?. If anyone can help, please. i need it.

Sorry for making this so long but i like to be very descriptive, So it makes it easier to diagnose the problem for those who tries to help with answers.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
