Question: Check engine light on and car sluggish
I have a 2001 V6 mustang. Recently the check engine light came on and with that the car has lost some power. If I try to punch it, it sputters and jerks. The same thing happens if I'm going up hill. If I release the clutch slowly and start out not giving it so much gas, we're ok. But the car just doesn't have it's old get up and go. We changed the plugs, oil and filters with some improvement for awhile, but that didn't last. Had the car recently smog tested and it passed. Would love to hear your thoughts.
